Wondering if anyone has suggestions other than give my Bird of paradise more water. Itās a rescue I found on the street years ago, repotted and handled pests. Then it lived in my apartments with only brief direct sunlight. Iāve moved from NY to NC and changed apartments so now I have a balcony that gets direct morning sunlight. I tried acclimating the Bird with placing it outside but out of direct light until the last week or so. The leaves are curling and the soil dries out quickly in this plastic pot and 90-100 degree heat. So the solution is just daily water? Is it possible to overwater in these kinds of summer conditions? Thereās an overhang so rain doesnāt really reach it. Wondering if this looks like a need to repot? I believe I repotted it with new soil 1 or 2 years ago.
