Help!!! Soo I have a peace Lily and a Chain plant in the same pot (long story) and the chain plant killed the peace Lily (lol). I’m not sure what I should do rn should I take the peace Lily out or should I let it keep eating the the peace Lily. My Tia said since the chain plant is happy just leave it

I’m not sure how you deduced one plant killed the other. Both are struggling. I would suspect inconsistent watering on both. The basket plant (Callisia Fragrans) on the right looks dry. The peace lily looks overwatered. They have different watering requirements. The basket plant acts more like a succulent. It hold more water in its stem. It likes to have dryer soil. The peace lily has thinner leaves and may need water more often. I highly recommend separating into two pots. The peace might not live if the roots are gone. The other will still make it. Get a pot with excellent drainage. The soil should quickly flow out water with no standing water. I would remove some of the “arms” and lower leaves to plant the basket plant in a six inch pot. Stick the arms in the pot too. Repot in spring. Place in full southern sun 8 hours a day or close to a grow light 12 hours to 14 hours a day. Fertilize monthly in winter. My basket plant is shown. They took over my 18” pot. Two bloomed.

I’ve given up on the peace Lily lol, the basket plant is only struggling because I assumed it needed full sun… so ive closed my blinds a little more and I’m just gonna cut the peace Lily down

Mine lives in full sun (8 hours), high heat (90°F -100°F) in summer and in high south Texas humidity. It got very big. I had it in bright shade on a covered patio the first year and growth was much less. Cutting back on light will slow its growth. It could start yellowing, also. I moved mine to a north window and it lost leaves. T recovered when I put it in full sun.

I think mine is burning in full sun tho? Unless the brown spots are cause of under watering

Your plant shows under watering especially if the peace lily in the same pot has dried out already. I would change pots and get fresh soil. The lower stem might be too weak since the plant is not erect. The side arms look thin. Consider propagating in water by cutting it in several sections 3 nodes long. Put 2 nodes in the water to get more roots. Fertilize when the roots emerge. Plant one or two in a pot deep enough to fit the roots (4”- 6”). Use a mix with lots of perlite for good drainage. Acclimate it to get used to full sun once planted. Fertilize monthly.

I agree with a lot of what people have said here.. I would repot into something with way more drainage, also change and refresh the soil... It looks like there's been a whole over/under watering thing going on here... She should be good with full sun, I don't think that's the issue here.. the brown tips are likely a sign of inconsiderate watering and (hopefully not) a bit of root damage...
