Since it’s becoming so yellow and droopy I’d most likely guess overwatering but with you only watering it once every three weeks I’m not sure I’d take the plant out of the pot and check for root rot

Irregular watering, overwatering, and edema can cause similar red spots on a fiddle leaf ficus. This plant looks like it’s overwatered or lacks sufficient fertilizer/light because it’s so pale. Monsteras need lots of bright indirect light to maintain its color and use up more water. It should be kept closer to a window or under a grow light. 🍀🪴

it seems like your monstera isn’t getting enough light. typically the space between nodes is quite short (1” or so), your plant is etiolated/stretched due to lack of light. this will cause overwatering symptoms like lower leaves yellowing, but based on the curled older leaves (underwatering symptom) i’m guessing your plant is rootbound. it most likely is if you haven’t repotted it at all. is the plant potted directly in ceramic? i advise against using solid (non-flexible) pots for monstera since they get rootbound easily and their roots are so strong and thick, you will likely need to break a ceramic pot to get the plant out, or break the root system if you want to save the pot. this comes from personal experience, it is not fun to repot a monstera out of ceramic.

Hi all, it was just extremely root bound and lacked some extra nutrients. It’s about 10 days out from being repotted and already much greener. Thanks
