I am just baffled with my spider plants. Appears to be rotting from the middle out. On most all my spiders. The soil is not wet. No changes with the care. I tore apart the roots, no rot. Any help out there? Anybody else have this?

I think you may be over watering, which I’ve found easy to do with spider plants. How often do you water?
2 gillningarOnce a week with rain water preferably

I wait for the soil to dry out before watering. My spiders aren’t particular about water quality, but they don’t want too much.
0 gillningarWhen you water is the water hitting the crowns? If so it sits in there and will rot them. Try bottom watering and maybe not as often.

1 gillaHow are yours doing now? All of mine were beautiful 2 weeks ago. We’ve had tons of rain and more than half of them are almost completly rotted now most of them like this rotted in the midddle. I’m so sad about it.
0 gillningarMine did not survive , I took it apart to see if it was wet and really not so much. Maybe too much humidity lots of rain in Florida
1 gillaSo humid here too in south Louisiana. I planted some of my baby spiderettes in the ground and they have taken off. The ones in pots mostly died I was able to save a few though. I am just amazed at the difference though.
