What’s up with my money tree? Is this mold? Is it harmful? Did I water too much? How do I remediate? The rest of the plant looks healthy and has new growth.

    This looks like saprophytic fungi. They feed on decaying plant matter. It’s not harmful to the plant but an indicator your soil needs more air flow or less water. to treat you can use a natural anti fungal or hydrogen peroxide dilution.

      Thank you! I broke up the soil a bit and will hold off on watering until it’s more dry.

    agree with kades! i’ll add that i would repot 🤷 i’d put it in terra cotta just one size larger with a bit of fresh soil
