I’ve grown this Chinese money plant from literally nothing! It would never grow past 3 leaves before one snapped off! I was so proud of the progress but it’s giving me troubles again, the stems keep snapping off recently, the new growth is shrivelled and/or brown and the old leaves are curling. Planta suggested I’m both over watering and under watering ?? Any suggestions if anyone has experienced this? What’s the fix? 🫣

  1. Yup

More humidity and make sure the soil is dry before watering

Your lighting could be off , your watering could be off, and it could need some vitamins or fertilizer depending where you live. I give my plants "Liquit-Dirt" everytime i water them. It seems to work. There are other "vitamins" for your plants but I've only used Liquit-Dirt. Sorry thats not much help.

It’s been in the same spot since it started to grow more, I’m wondering if it could be the weather getting colder? I just added fertiliser into my plants diets, hopefully will improve🤞🏼🤞🏼

Maybe pests? I just think it’s strange it’s attacking the new leafs

I just had a new plant that had a couple of thrips on it (although i quickly isolated and dealt with) so could possibly be that! Haven’t seen any signs on my money plant but will keep an eye and give it a spray!

Buy it a plant light. Mine was acting up until I purchased a plant light.
