Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me with my teardrop pepperomia. She was very healthy last week, but this week she has been dropping her leaves with no reason. Why? And is she ok?

I can help you troubleshoot if you’d like. You can start by trying to narrow down the possible causes of the problem 1. How often do you water it? Do you let the soil completely dry out before watering? 2. What kind of soil is it in? Does it take a long time to drain to dry out? Has it been repotted? 3. Have you checked for pests, and if so, have you checked the roots? If the roots are dark in color and mushy, not light and firm, it’s root rot, which I can walk you through how to treat 4. How much light is it getting? If you don’t know what level of light your windows provide (ex: north or south windows), try to estimate how many hours of bright sunlight the window it’s nearest to provides every day.

It get indirect light all day I’m not sure what soil it is but I water it every 10 days. It has been in the same pot the whole time I have had it, and I’ve had it about 3 months. The root seem to be fine, and as far as I’m aware there is no pests. It’s life seems completely normal other that the leaves.

Ok, I hope I fixed it. A third of the plant was starting to rot a little and was hanging on by a thread, so I removed it

For starters, I would only water when it’s dry. My peperomia is in a window and loves it. Maybe try more light.

Does the pot have drain holes? Roots sitting in water too long can cause root rot and leaf drop.
