New plant mama here. I have a braided hibiscus “tree” and her blooms are beautiful when they first come out but then they get this dark blackish spots on the rims? Does anyone know what this could be?

    I have a braided hibiscus too which I love! Is it that the bloom is aging? Have you noticed it on all of them?

      I haven’t noticed it on all the blooms. It was braided with a yellow flower and red flower and the dark spots are only on the red flowers. The blooms also don’t last very long before they drop, like 1-2 days. Not sure if that’s normal or not.

      That seems to be the case for mine as well so hopefully that is normal😁

    This is normal! Hibiscus blooms have short bloom times of 1-2 days ☺️
