Hi! I got this water lily a couple weeks ago and it seems like it’s slowly dying? there’s blackening and yellowing spots and different parts of the plant is getting a crunchy and brown. the leaves are also starting to curl at the ends. please help! thank you!!!!
When I had my Lily plant I left her in front of my window for about 5 days, when I came back she was burnt to a crisp. Because you said the plant is crunchy I think you need to reevaluate the spot you have it in -put in a spot that gets light but not intense. make sure it’s not directly infront of the window but a little to the side - Also figure out if you’re watering it enough. My Lily plant was so dramatic when she needed water , so I think the lily plants need consistent water. Make sure the soil is slightly moist most days, just not soaking wet. Water it right before it starts to get dry again -Also cut off any close to dead leaf that way your plant can focus its energy only into the leafs and stems that need it -Spray with a tiny bit of dish washing liquid soapy water to try and deter any pests Hopefully these help!
