Leaves are curling, cut a few off. Any ideas? It looked great the first few months I had it. I was told it needed indirect light but I am really not sure what exactly that means. Also what exactly does root rot look like? Can you tell I am new to having houseplants😬

How do I change the humidity?

You can add a pebble tray, take it in the bathroom when you shower, mist it ever so often, buy a humidifier, etc.

That looks like my calathea did from tap water damage. I started using aquarium water conditioner in my tap water and it worked fantastic for my fussy plants. you can also use filtered water, rain water or reverse osmosis. And indirect light just means a bright area but the sun doesn’t hit it directly. Hope this helps!
