Not sure if you can see the wrinkles but my cantaloupe feels soft kinda squishy but I don’t think it’s ready to pick. What could be the problem?

plantgeekshould probably pick it off if it's squishy. could be rot, overwatering, or overripe even if it's still green. probably have to cut it open to find out

I think it just need to be watered the got nice and firm again after watering at first I thought it was rotting
