My philodrendon has these white specks on it’s leaves and pot. I tried spraying it with neem oil the last time I watered it and nothing makes it go away. Is it some sort of insects or mold? What can I do to make it go away?

Does it easily wipe off and reappear days later? Then, it might be mold/fungus such as powdery mildew. Threat with a commercial fungicide. Neem is a natural fungicide. It should work on fungus. It could be hard water deposits and salt residues from liquid fertilizers. I clean off the mineral deposits with a white vinegar and water solution starting with a low percentage of vinegar to avoid putting too much acid on the plant. I wipe gently with a soft damp cloth. Check for pests like thrips and spider mites that chew leaves. 🪴🍀
