This is on my lemon tree (on the backs of the leaves) Does anyone know what this is, and how to get rid of it? I’ve sprayed everything I know on it and it keeps coming back.

Looks like mealey bugs
1 j'aimeI’ve cut the affected leaves off the plants, and sprayed with neem oil, and they came back. Do you know of another more effective way to treat them?
0 J'aimeI read you can either hose them off every few days as needed if the plant can handle it or can wipe the plant down with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. That will kill them instantly.

0 J'aimeYou’re welcome ☺️
0 J'aimeAlcohol on the leaves can quickly kill the plant. Mealy bugs can be dabbed with a cotton swab containing isopropyl alcohol. Never wipe or spray the plant with it. 🪴🍀
2 J'aimeHi Dina. I feel for you. I had a big infestation this spring. I had to prune so much I wasn’t sure the plants would survive it. But I actually did spray mine with isopropyl alcohol and water mix (1:1) to kill them on the spot but then rinsed the leaves thoroughly after only a minute or two. Then I treated with neem oil spray every 7 days for 6 weeks, at dusk so the leaves didn’t get burned. It was a battle that I eventually won but it took some doing. Good luck!
