I have had this happy bean pepperomia for a while and it continues to lose older leaves and while I am entertained by the palm tree appearance (quite frankly it would bring me a lot of joy to use it to make a living beach 🏝️ scene) I’m just wondering if there’s something I am doing wrong. I water it when it’s totally dry and the window it is maybe a 6 in from faces south. Im a zone 4a in Canada (the plant is inside only). I don’t see any pests on it

I would update the pot size to the correct pot size bc it’s prob recommending watering a little too frequently with the pot size listed as 0”. I’ve had some older leaves come off mine, but not many. Make sure it’s in a fairly well draining mix.

Good to know! It will more than likely need repotting this year so I will probably just jump on that “early”. Now you’ve got me curious I’m going to check the soil moisture using my reader. Before doing all this - it always feels super dry but maybe it’s not as dry as I think it is
