Doesn’t look like any mealy bugs I’ve had before. I’d probably wipe off with water and 50% alcohol solution.
4 gillningarMealy bugs look kind of like isopods wearing white fluffy fur coats. If you’re referring to the black pest looking insects, it could be a couple of different things. Common fungus gnats or thrips. The attached photo is of thrips on house plants from the Missouri botanical garden website.
0 gillningarI’m not sure what it is. Mealybugs are furry and leave white furry deposits. I would treat with insecticidal soap after spraying as much off as possible with a garden hose or shower spray if they have legs. Repeat treatment each week until they are all gone. 🪴🍀
