    Doesn’t look like any mealy bugs I’ve had before. I’d probably wipe off with water and 50% alcohol solution.

    Mealy bugs look kind of like isopods wearing white fluffy fur coats. If you’re referring to the black pest looking insects, it could be a couple of different things. Common fungus gnats or thrips. The attached photo is of thrips on house plants from the Missouri botanical garden website.

    I’m not sure what it is. Mealybugs are furry and leave white furry deposits. I would treat with insecticidal soap after spraying as much off as possible with a garden hose or shower spray if they have legs. Repeat treatment each week until they are all gone. 🪴🍀
