I don't know if this will help anybody, but I decided to share just in case anyone else is dealing with those evil fungus gnats. This is my extra bathroom where I keep all of the babies I've started and a few plants that need some extra love. I went in there last week and was swarmed with them!! Zillions!! No idea where they came from. But less than a week later I don't have them anymore. This is what I did. I made a mixture of one part hydrogen peroxide to three parts water and I poured it through until it came out the bottom. That kills the eggs. Then I covered all the tops with sand and stuck in some of those sticky things. I learned that worked a couple of years ago when I had them in over 100 plants and spent a fortune trying everything else. The only warning is that once they're gone remove the sand off of anything that doesn't like to stay wet because it does hold more moisture. Found out the hard way when I lost a few succulents last time.

Gnat egg poison + sticky things = the way to go. I love this product. I get gnats occasionally and it wipes them out. If they really love a certain plant, I’ve also repotted it in fresh soil, fresh pot, etc. Gnats are the one pest you can actually get rid of 😎

I've never seen that stuff. I'll have to check it out. Put my hydrogen peroxide water mix seems to be sufficient and it's probably a lot less expensive. Lol.
