So I bought this plant online about2, 2.5 weeks ago it arrived in perfect condition, despite traveling to Michigan and -10° weather. It arrived perfect, and healthy I let it sit in the pot. It came in for 24 hours and then I repotted it. The soil I used was regular potting soil mixed with perlite and orchard bark. I watered it with liquid fertilizer and it’s just dwindling. Anybody have any ideas the ends are crispy and then you move a little bit more down and the leaf is like floppy flexible and wrinkled.

Snake plants normally water once a month, I’ve not got the version you have, as they store the water in the leaves so even though soil maybe dry you could of over watered it as you got the wrinkles near bottom of leaves, also new soil will have feed for it, if your in winter time they don’t normally have feed only spring and summer time. The other thing could be transplant shock and new location especially if temperature got cold

The app tells me to water every 22 days I believe I’m jsut confused as to why the ends are very crispy dry and the spot right below the ends are wrinkly and then the rest of the plant looks perfect

Snake plants can go a long time in between waterings, twice in 2 weeks is too much. When the leaves wrinkle and slightly squishy it’s time to water. I recommend removing from the pot and checking for any signs of rot. Remove any mushy or brown areas and then repot into a cactus soil mix, add perlite or pumice, but I wouldn’t add orchid bark. It’s going to hold extra moisture that the plant doesn’t need.

When it arrived did it have a warm heat pack? Was it still warm? I don’t think overwatering damage would show up so quickly. I think it is cold damage. And because of the thickness and sturdiness of the leaves, you didn’t notice it till last few days.

I agree with Phil. I thought I got my snake plants inside before it got too cold but a few days after I moved them some leaves turned brown at the top 😔
