Yep. Sterilize a blade (depending on thickness, you might actually want a saw; you want a cut straight across without crushing/deforming the stem. A sharp kitchen knife should also work.) Cut straight across, just beneath the leafy part. Lay it down sideways on a clean surface and let the wound callous over (depending on growing conditions, this may take a day to a week.) Once the wound is calloused, replant it in appropriate soil and water it in. Continue normal care (but keep in mind it may be a bit slower to use water while it's working on new roots). You can also use rooting hormone on the calloused cut if you want
