BbHi there, do you mean the mushrooms? Fungi in the soil is usually not a bad thing, just a sign that the soil is rich with organic matter which includes fungi. Usually fungi will pop up when things are moist.

Ok thank you! Yeah it’s been raining a lot this week but the fungi won’t affect the plant right?

That will do it. The fungi will grow and then will eventually dry out and return back to the soil, won’t hurt your corn. Just make sure if the pot is sitting on a tray, the tray gets emptied after rain. Or you might end up with soggy soil that will cause your seeds to rot. Best of luck! 🌿🌿🌿
