Help! My string of dolphins is starting to shrivel up, I gave it water once the soil dried but hasn’t seemed to help,

String of dolphins in lower light will lose their dolphin shape and when it isn’t in adequate light, then it can’t sufficiently use water. When that happens, the plant sometimes will shrivel up and rot/look like it’s dried out.

Thank you that is helpful, I should add that I do use a grow light over it, but I am guessing that is not sufficient?

That’s correct! Plants are super cool because they speak their own language and we just have to pay attention to what’s said. The dolphins in the right kind of light will be plump. If they aren’t plumping up, maybe you need to move the light closer or put it in a bright window? Keep in mind that if you move it too close, it can burn ☺️

Get it into full sun, asap. As much sun as you can provide and hopefully it will turn around.

I think grow lights are good for supplemental light but imho nothing is better than real sunlight for a plant for photosynthesis.
