I need some help! I got my prayer plant around March 30th and I keep her out of direct sunlight, I don’t use stink water after finding out it could be to harsh for her, and I don’t have her near any air vents! What could I do to help with the yellow leaves and cleaning her off??

Yellowing may mean overwatering. How often are you watering?

Every two weeks I try to wait til the soil is a bit dry, I was thinking it was because I haven’t cleaned her

I think your maranta has spider mites. The leaf to the right of the yellow one looks stippled like pests tend to do and also has some white stuff on it.

You can try spraying it in the shower or sink with just water. This is enough for mine for upkeeping (calatheas/marantas are spider mite magnets so I spray them every couple weeks). The best spray I have used is off a YouTube video it is: * 8 cups water * 1/4 cup tea tree Castile soap * 1/4 cup peppermint Castile soap * 1 tbsp 1% peroxide (or 1 tsp 3%) * 1 cup 70% isopropyl alcohol The second best is captain jacks deadbug brew which is available at big box stores. Regardless of what you use be sure to get the backs of leaves and especially the stems!

Get rid of spider mites use 70% alcohol take a cotton ball and wipe off every leaf front and back, after you spray it off in the shower. This plant needs high humidity consider a humidifier this will help with the browning of the leaves if you are not over watering.. good luck
