so I rescued this plant from someone at work last week. it had tons of extremely dry, dead leaves that I cut off and I also cut it out of its tiny root cage that the roots were crammed into. The roots looked healthy and white, no signs of rot. it got a thorough watering (last friday) and the soil is still moist a few inches down. is there anything else i should do other than wait? does it have any chance of being healthy again?

Is this an evergreen or a variegated peace Lilly? Either way you did an amazing job! I definitely definitely think she’ll be okay. Maybe leave her for a bit to acclimate, less shocking.
