What am i doing wrong? A second leaf is turning yellow within 14 days. The first one turned yellow that was near the base of the pot and wilted away. The rest of it seems to be doing good. I don’t water until thr soil is dry so 7-10 days

I would say lack of light or pests.

      Do you rotate it?

I do rotate it every time i water it. Im not sure if its just a old leaf but this would be the second leaf

Could be, it looks like an older leaf that had mechanical damage done while in the store you got it from. I wouldn’t think too much of it, maybe delay watering slightly and rotate more often and see how the plant responds. Check to see if it needs repotting, but I’m not as sure if that’s the issue.

I have noticed that the soil drys out quickly. Im thinking its hydrophobic

This happened to mine when it was rootbound which also makes sense if the soil is drying out super quickly like you said. I’d pop it out to check

That happens to my pothos every now and then too. It could be due to heat or humidity causing a few leaves to turn yellow. I usually just trim them off, and the plant eventually bounces back. You might want to try watering every 10 days to play it safe.
