Whats going on with my pothos? only some leaves started turning black. They aren’t crunchy, actually very thin. Am I under watering or is this root rot?

I would prob definitely check the roots just to be safe. I always water til it runs thru the bottom, never have any problems. Hope this helps 🤗

Thank you! It does! Do you have any suggestions of how to get rid of root rot if it is that?

If it’s root rot you’re going to want to trim the rotting parts off and wash the roots off with some hydrogen peroxide. Wash out your pot and repot with fresh soil if there’s still viable roots at least 2 inches. If you lost a lot of roots you might want to downsize on the pot. If the roots are really small after trimming you can place those parts in water until the roots come back. Only other thing to do if it’s gotten really bad is just chop and prop all the good pieces still

Maybe check the roots because it looks like overwatering

Okay! Sounds good. I think I might have to replant it too because it’s been in this pot for about a year or so! Thank you for your advice!

Make sure that you have well draining soil/planting medium to ensure that the roots are not just sitting in wet soil (which causes rot).

I agree with what others have said. It looks like overwatering.
