I just got into plants and I’ve been finding gnats in my room more recently. Any tips on getting rid of them? No clue which plant they’re from but I could figure it out with tips. Thank you!

Hi! I just ordered these and going to try them out. But there are many products on Amazon that you could try like STEM Plant Pest Spray, Neem Oil and Peppermint Cold Pressed Natural Plant Spray and the fungus gnat sticky tapes, of course. I’ve noticed when I see the flying insects is usually around the bottom of the plant they are coming from because they are attracted to the overwatering of the plant. Good luck!

They probably came from the soil. I use mosquito dunks (found in hardware stores and Amazon) and mix that in with the water I use to water plants.

try bottom watering and let the soil dry out (considering plant needs) before watering. throw a little cinnamon on the top of the soil if you have it. (recommendation as you wait if you decide to get traps)

Mosquito dunks! If one plant has gnats the best thing is to assume they all have gnats. Use the mosquito dunk water on all plants! Good luck!
