HELP! My Syngonium Berry Allusion was doing fine, but now it’s wilting? I just watered it and I saw it when I opened my curtains. I have no idea what’s going on! I don’t think it is direct sunlight (might be) because I’ve had it in the window for what feels like a month and that’s what revived it in the first place, so what is it?? PLEASE HELP!

Oh no!!! It looks so sad right now. I'm not an expert at all but do you think it's root bound? It looks like there's not enough soil in the pot. It looks like they are sensitive to overwatering as well, do you think it's getting too much water?

I’ll be adding more soil on Juneteenth (tomorrow). Maybe it will be better by then

Looks like the soil doesn’t have much aeration. These guys prefer a well-draining mix since they’re aroids. The soil staying too wet can cause the leaves to droop

The new soil im putting in might help spread out the water. I’ll also check the soil for wetness before watering.

Good idea :) check if any of the roots are mushy. If so, trim them off. Also I’d recommend not using too much soil as it can lead to root rot. You want the pot size to be just slightly larger than the root system

I’m broke rn so I can’t buy the soil. Wish I could. (This is meant for your earlier comment, it keeps putting the reply down here for some reason.)

I recall your previous post when it had root rot. Adding more soil will increase the chance of root rot since more soil will add more water that the plant can’t use. It needs a pot about half that size. The roots can dry out the water in the soil in a smaller pot. The soil should be near the rim of the pot to let airflow help dry the soil. A smaller pot will allow the soil to reach the top of the pot.

I would buy a new pot but I don’t have much money right now. Putting in new soil is the best I can do currently

I have been there. I understand the budget can only go so far. Try recycling food containers, old Tupperware or anything smaller that you can put drainage holes into. Because adding more soil will not dry out the water. It does just the opposite. An alternative is to move the plant into water and raise it hydroponically. You will need to clean all the soil and use a glass container or similar. There are many articles and videos on how to do this.

Thanks for the advice. I’m sorry it took me so long to reply; my phone was dead and also in a place that I forgot about for a while.
