Please help me diagnose my Golden Pothos. Was doing great for so long, now the leaves yellow, wither, and fall off. Vines are long, with under 10 leaves. I follow Plantas watering schedule, and I’ve noticed it take a while for plant to drain. Help!

What soil are you using? Looks quite dark and compact is it a pre made mix?
2 J'aimeStandard potting soil. Just watered it so looks dark
0 J'aimeIf it were my plant I’d chop and propagate
3 J'aimeI think this is what I will do.
1 j'aimeOverwatered for sure! Let it dry completely (about 1 and a half weeks) and stick to misting for a bit to see how much water is preferred by the plant!
2 J'aimeYea I don’t think you’ve got enough drainage
1 j'aimeI am however exceptionally new to this but getting right involved
0 J'aimeSo I’ve let it dry out completely quite a few times, even skipping waters. I’m thinking it doesn’t have enough drainage!
1 j'aimeIf you’re using just top soil, this compacts quite a lot, which makes drainage hard also in a terracotta pot, as said before you might want to prop it. Get some clear well drained pots. Even some clay balls or something to keep air in the soil
0 J'aimeThey love Airoid soil mix also!

So this exact thing happened to my plant as well. This is what I did. I took it out of the original soil washed and clean the roots. Got a little bit of a bigger pot because it seemed crowded. Then I put new soil and fertilizer and let the plant relax I water when needed and it is now just starting to come back. It looks great. Good luck to you. One more thing, my plant was hanging in a window. So I cleaned all around the window. There were a few spiderwebs just to make sure that it had a nice and clean place.
