Help! I purchased this Peace Lily back in November. Each wee for the last three weeks I’ve lost a single flower that turned brown. Several are now green. What am I doing wrong and how do I keep her healthy?

flowers bloom and die out—no worries unless your leaves are yellowing/browning. peace lillies are tricky for many (including me!)

I have heard they are difficult. Our house isn’t great with direct sun light. I’ll have to figure something out!

I would assume it needs more light to give you white flowers

They actually do better in indirect light as direct light can burn the leaves. The flowers won’t stay all the time, they bloom at a certain time but don’t last. Sometimes they won’t even bloom 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thank you for this! I’m stilling trying to find the best places in the house for my plants with light. Just appreciate your insight!

It’s normal for the plant to drop spent blooms - they don’t last forever. Just let the top of the soil dry out about an inch or two before you water again. Your plant will bloom again when it’s ready just be prepared that it probably won’t have nearly as many

I literally just had the same issue. Many of my flowers turned brown one after one. The leaves still look good. I’d say you’re doing great

Thanks! The brown made me think something was wrong. I get they don’t last forever, I guess I just never saw the cycle :) thanks again!

Mine does not get the best lighting but it is in my master bathroom and the humidity does it well. Maybe you can try that along with a grow light
