Just bought a miniature rose about two weeks ago. Noticed it started getting a white powder on some of the leaves. When I looked into it I learned it was a type of fungus. I’ve been able to prune the infected leaves off and the rest seem healthy but I don’t want it to come back on any of the others. Does anyone have any tips on what’s the best thing to use to prevent it?

It’s probably powdery mildew. Roses get them quite often. Bottom water to avoid wetting the leaves since fungus thrive in the moisture on the leaves. A commercial fungicide spray can help. 🍀🪴

Ye I thought so, I’ll make sure to do that. Thanks a lot! 👍

No problem. I had two miniature roses that were grocery store buys. I planted them outside in a northeast location, nit an ideal setting, and fungus was a big problem. They were in shade most of the day. But, they lived beautifully for years once we figured out the fungus issues.

Yes I’m the same, bought them from a local shop. However I’m being abit risky and trying to grow them indoors in a spot that gets plenty of light and is still nice and cool. So we’ll see how it goes!
