Hello! My friend gave this to me as a gift. I am not great at rehabilitation yet and the leaves, on what I’m assuming to be is a golden pothos, are not great. Hoping to repot it soon, but I currently cannot for a few weeks. Any tips to rehabilitate it in the meantime?

The leaves look maybe a little burnt from the sunlight. Maybe move them farther away from the windows? Planta recommends part sun-part shade for Golden Pothos’.

Okay! I’ve got it in a lower light area. Got it today so not sure where she had it

They should do fine in any window. If it has been in really low light you might have to acclimate it. Did the leaves already look like that when you got it?

Got the plant today, so yes, that’s what the leaves have looked like.

So I doubt you had it in too much light, as far as I know no place indoors is too much light for them unless they go from low light to high light very suddenly. Especially now in the winter. I would put it in a window.

Try maybe just loosening the roots and replacing the dirt, because it looks like it’s getting a bit cramped in there 😅 I also have a pothos and it likes indirect light, and watering every 12-ish days. I would also keep it a bit humid, because dem pothoses like it a bit damp

I don't think it looks that bad! Since you just got it yesterday if you put it inappropriate light and get it on you put watering schedule I think you'll be fine. I took a golden pothos that all the leaves were totally crunchy but the stems were mostly green. I cut it completely back, every stem to about 2 in. Watered it regularly, gave it a little fertilizer, and given some time it looked beautiful. Trim off any ugly leaves and maybe this spring give it a light pruning to stimulate more side growth.

I hate on the audio text that he say what I wanted to. And the plant that makes it hard to go back and . Put the plant in appropriate light not inappropriate light and get it on a good watering schedule. There!
