Somebody gave me some cuttings like four months ago and they were a lot bigger and I had a lot more. I tried growing. The roots in water went great. It produced roots that I’d pull them out and half of the stem was rotted so I cut that off put it back in water. It kept happening so I decided to try again, but to just put it in soil, it’s been going great. The leaves haven’t been dying. It’s been looking good but for the past two weeks, the stems are looking like they’re rotting and now the leaves closest to the soil are dying. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong with this plant. I have it right next to a humidifier. I have it directly in the east facing window.(I’ve tried every single facing window.) I water it like every week and a half two weeks whenever my app tells me to and I have it in potting soil mixed with Pete moss because that’s what I found on the Internet to be the best soil for it

These plants LOVEEEE water. The thing is when you go from water propagation to transferring it into soil you must keep the soil moist at all times and wean it off the watering slowly. It’s a shock to the plant to go from a constant water source to soil therefore it’s important to always keep the soil moist. It doesn’t look like rot to me if anything your plant looks thirsty and may need more water. Trust me inch plants love water and the reason why moss was suggested is because it tends to keep the soil moist for longer. I think only watering every week- two weeks isn’t enough. I would just try to water maybe twice a week and see how that goes.
