Itās a south facing window
0 LikesAnd I water it the same as you when the leaves tell me their thirsty
0 LikesIt looks dehydrated. Bottom water by letting the pot sit in water until the top soil is moist. Then, completely drain off excess water. It should perk up if itās not too far gone. Crotons can take direct sun if they are adequately hydrated like in their natural environment. They bake faster in hot sun with little water. The bright light also brings out the colors.šŖ“š
0 LikesOk Iām going to try watering it and keeping a closer eye on it and see what happens
2 LikesSouth facing window should be fine just make sure itās only getting around 4 hours of direct sun. Maybe move it back from the window a little. Itās probably cooking in 8+ hours of sun.
0 LikesMake sure you are using the right water as well, this maybe a plant that needs good water and your tap water may have too many toxins for the plant. You can google the proper balance of water for the plant, as well as what type of water it needs. You can also test your tap water to see what exactly is in it and if it has too much or too little of a specific toxin.
0 LikesI only use filtered water for my plants .. I have checked the roots thereās no root rot but it was time for a repot so I repotted it and gave it a water bath n allowed it to fully drip till no water was coming out. And I have moved it back from the window as well. Letās see what happened fingers crossed
