My pilea/chinese money plant has all these white dots around the perimeter of the leaves. And it looks super sad Would it be gnats? Any thoughts on it???? Helppppoo 😮💨

do you use tap water for this plant? if you have very hard water or softened water that could be the cause. the spots look like mineral buildup, which happens when the plant transpires: the water evaporates but leaves mineral salts behind.

White spots on the back of Pileas leaves can be totally normal. Do a little google search and you’ll feel better! They are typically pores/stomata. Agreed with Plant Father, above, though- I do always use distilled/purified water when watering. My Pileas are definitely a little dramatic, so be patient, don’t freak out, and you’ll be good to go. 🤩🌿
