Help me on this one all I did was repot my Monstera in Orchid bark , pearl lite, Coco core, . I gave it a little bigger pot. I watered it and I left for two days and I came home to these leaves looking this pathetic what is going on? Help me someone what do I do to resurrect this plant? Should I just cut the top parts off put them in water to get some fresh roofs and just go with that?

Best option is to snip them. The plant won’t waste its energy to repair the leaf, so instead, make room for new growth. If pests are not present and you adequately watered after repotting, it could very well be that it went into shock. Make sure it’s not near an AC where there could be a draft. Lastly: liquid fertilizer! This will help your monstera get those extra nutrients : ) Happy planting!!

my partners monstera did something like this and it was due to the leaves being scorched, they were up against a very hot radiator and no one noticed 🫣

No it isn’t. It’s shock from the repotting and dirt changing

It’s sunburn. It scorches the leaves and the damaged areas turn black. If not sunburn, then, check the roots. I’ve never seen a monstera go black from repotting. Even cutting back roots makes the leaves go yellow then dry brown.
