Oxalis go dormant in winter. They have rhizomes or bulbs/corms (whatever you want to call them). Let the soil dry out, give them time and light and in time they will spring back.
3 gillningarI thought that it will go dormant when they got cold
1 gillaOMG! I'm not a bad plant mom. Mine are just sleeping?! 😅ðŸ¤
0 gillningarI’m ok with the pot size for this type plant. I’ve had some seeds blow into a nearby pot of soil larger than this size and the seeds sprouted. The plants are still living fine in a pot of soil that would kill off other plants from overwatering. I’ll also rarely repot because they look great in the growing in the old pots. I would get it more light. Get it used to full sun a little bit at a time. Mine are old and can take cooler and higher temperatures than my tropical plants. A very bright grow light is an alternative. I use Miracle Gro about one a month in the warmer months. I stop in winter. I add manure on top in Spring because it’s outside with lots of breeze to take away the smell. They really like organic fertilizer. Mine don’t typically go dormant until end of winter when the old leaves die off while the new leaves emerge. Mine live outside as much as possible. They are inside for winter freezes. I mostly let rainwater take care of the watering. I water when the summer temperatures dry out the soil too quickly.
