Anyone have any tips for browning monstera aurea leaves? I’ve had it for a few months now and the browning spots started very small and have continued to grow. The brown spots aren’t crispy and dry, they still feel like they’ve got some moisture in them. The roots look healthy and I definitely don’t overwater. It’s in a place with all of my other monsteras that are doing pretty well. Apparently it’s super common with monstera aurea but does anyone have anything that may help?

Could be that its receiving too much light, could be humidity levels or even sensitivity to minerals in the water (my Chinese evergreen is on death’s door bc of the amount of calcium in my water in TN)

Check all of your bases to verify sure. Winter is just unfriendly sometimes. Cycle of life and all that jazz. I try not to focus on whats not dealing well with what is

If its just on the mostly aurea sections it may just be the chlorophyll issues the Albos get. You can treat with Silca every watering time. If it's all over you may want to preventative treat with fungicide (not neem, it's not a good one)

Yeah I was thinking it’s because of the more variegated parts. I haven’t heard of the silica trick, thanks!!
