That maybe be why it’s drooping them, I don’t know much abt the polka dot plant but it looks like it’s way to dry. maybe try a different pot and more regular watering

That plant is way overwatered. Remove most of that wet soil, let it dry out for a few hours. Check size of root system. Reduce the pot size if the root system is not filling the planter. Repot with fresh dry soil. Change the planter if you can. That one is not going to work for long.

Polka dot plants are not easy. If it’s in a container like that, it’s going to need moss or coir to keep it moist but not soggy. I’ve never seen one in an open cage - that’s optimistic. We all love them but they are finicky- not too much water and not too little. Need light or they get elongated. Then they reach their peak and need to be cut back to start over. It’s not you - it’s the plant. 😜

If you don’t want them long you have to pinch their leaves.

Those really never make it unless they are in a humid environment I have mine in a humidity dome and I’ve never had crispy leaves since. I have mine in part shade part sun with very high humidity.

Agreed. Even with two humidifiers running next to them, they weren’t happy. I gave up after several moths.

Definitely too dry. Get a small pot with holes in the bottom and water it once every 8 days. Make sure the water isn’t too hot or cold cause polka plants are very picky about that. They don’t need MUCH humidity but they still need it of course. Maybe move the plant indoors as well. (I love polka dot plants so much and I wish you the best of luck)
