Please help my sickly Callisia repens ‘Pink Panther’ The top is dying, but the side are still growing. I have followed all the Planta guidelines and she continues to go down hill.

I can tell you my routine and that may help. I’m pretty much following Planta for watering and fertilizing. My Panther gets lots of bright light. Several hours of morning sun and then a 12 hour medium intensity grow light. Soil dries out completely before watering. I use a very gritty succulent soil. I also use RO water. It’s like distilled. I don’t like the trailing so I trim about every two weeks to promote a more bush appearance. I think that’s it and pic is from a few days ago. Added to my collection in July I think. Has been repotted three times because it has grown so fast. Currently in 5 or 6 inch pot.

I was wrong. Added in mid May and has been repotted 4 times. Originally in a 3 inch nursery pot.

Your plant is very beautiful. I do have RO water because I also keep several aquariums. It seems like mine may not be getting as much sun as it needs. Can I ask what you do with all your cuttings?

They are usually tossed. Have never added any to the planter. That growth is from original plant.

Oh, ok. I’m thinking of trying to propagate them and wondered if you have tried it.

Is there a secret to trimming so that the shape stays round?

I have used cuttings to restart mine twice. I have put them in water to grow some roots and then replant them. I have recently started rooting my spider babies in Sphagnum Moss Petals. The roots are not as fine, so I’m hoping the transition to soil will be easier. I’m getting ready to clean mine up again as there are some dried out sections. Just logged in to see what soil people were using.
