So, I’ve been trying to revive my parlor palm as it’s been a little sad lately and I’m not too sure why. It had a few brown stems and leaves, which I’ve trimmed off. I did go through a period of being bad with watering (which is why I got this app) so I assumed it was lack of water. I’ve kept an eye on it, moved it to my balcony door window (north facing) to try get it more light and only watered it when it’s starting to get dry at the top and bottom. However as you can see it’s still unhappy and deteriorating by the day. Is there anything else anyone can suggest?

The leaves look a little dry to me, I know parlour palms like humidity, so misting is a simple solution for that. It sounds like you’re doing the right things, rehydrate it slowly overtime and hopefully it will bounce back nicely for you. Best of luck.

My apartment is quite humid though I would say. The spot it is in is around 49-56% humidity according to my hydrometer.

It sounds like humidity can be ruled out if that’s the case, I have to admit I’m kind of stumped on this one šŸ˜…. But hopefully someone can help with the solution soon.

Mine did the same and showed great improvement when I moved it to my bathroom. It loves the daily misting from the shower 😊
