If the leaves of this tradescantia are drying up yet some of the leaves are hanging low what should I do?

Is it an old plant? Tradescantia have a relatively short life span, so the best thing to do to keep it going is to chop & prop healthy stems back into the same pot

It’s less than 2 months old. I bought it at this size.

It looks like it really needs a drink. Can you water it, give it some sun, snip off the dead leaves and see how it goes? I’m sure it’ll bounce back with some TLC.

I just watered it this past Friday but it was in the bright sun today

It’s ok to water it if the soil is completely dry or NOT water it if the soil is too wet. Planta is more of a guide, not a definite.

Mine is outside and it gets watered at least 3 times a week. It has never died other than the tops in the winter. I cut it back in spring she comes back just as strong if not stronger and bigger 😩
