Does anyone know what happened to my plant? She was doing just fine, I’ve only had herfor a couple of months and watered according to the schedule. Did she drown? Or died from not enough water? Can I still save her? Thanks!

that's mold. are you pouring the water into the pot? don't do that. put it in a saucer or bowl of water high enough to cover the drainage holes and let it soak up the water. it still looks salvageable if you cut off all moldy or squishy parts and let it recover.
0 LikesI do indeed pour it into the pot, but only in summer! I will start bottom watering again, or at least alternate. Thank you :) this was a supermarket plant i got as a gift and I have tried to save it, but i realised it was root rot and it spread too deep. Also there was some weird gauze wrapped very close to the root! It just kept the moisture in :(
1 Likethe time of year doesn't really affect the mold growth. it will grow anyways. the leaves of the plant are too compact for proper airflow. never top water succulents.
