I HAVE THRIPS WHAT DO I DO???? HELP ME PLEASEEEEEE
Depending on where you live, imadocloprid works very well. Just make sure you use per instructions. Lowering the dose leads to the next batch gaining immunity to it. Bear in mind that systemics take time to work; you may not immediately see results. You could also use biological (predatory bugs) _________ Planta doesn’t allow me to add links but if you look up “UC IPM Pests in Garden and Landscape: Thrips” the article showing types of thrips and options for control
いいね 1件I'll check that out, thank you. They can become immune to things?! That is horrifying, thrips are the worstttr
いいね 1件i recommend a dual insecticide approach to help prevent selection for insecticide resistance- i use bonide systemic granules and the captain jack’s dead bug spray together!
いいね 1件Also recommend you isolate your plant from the other plants immediately so the pests don’t spread. If feasible washing your plant to physically remove the pests may help while you look for biological or chemical controls
2件のいいねI threw it away, it only had 2 leaves left. The bad thing is it's had this "problem" for over a month and seemed to chuck its leaves wherever it pleases, so the leaves have been all over surrounding plants and who knows how much could be in my carpet 🤢
0件のいいねI recommend inspecting all your plants, I mean all up in there 😄 for any sign of damage, curling, dark marks, etc, Also, hosing/showering the plants in the area and wiping down the leaves. It’s a great time to clean them going into the fall. Spray them down thoroughly with your choice of insecticide or pesticide. I’d do this every other day or few days for at least a couple weeks. This will help manage it.
2件のいいねi’d go ahead and treat anything nearby with systemic granules preventatively!
いいね 1件Oh my gosh I AM SOOO SORRY!! 🤢
