New to plants

I’ve been having issues with bugs in my plants but I think this may be some sort of soil fungus. The mushroom looking piece has disappeared but there are white spores like this all around my soil. Does anyone know what this is and how to stop or prevent it??

Its not harmful to your plants. I know you can get rid of mold with cinnamon but im not so sure about mushrooms. I know they are a type of fungas but thats about it.

Mushrooms in yards are not an issue. It shows there is a lot organic matter in the soil or mulch. Just turn over the soil if you don’t like looking at it. You can use a fungicide to help temporarily prevent reoccurrence. It’s up to you. I would ignore it until they start affecting the plants.

This is completely normal, non-harmful, and those are spores it left behind. You can scoop them out if you hate them.
