Hello Planta community ☺️👋🏻 Would anyone have found an effective solution to get rid of fruit flies and flying gnats? I already own several blue light sticky trap machines around the house as well as the actual yellow sticky traps posted into each plant I own. I also spray Arber Bio Pesticide & Fungicide on my plants once every two weeks in hopes of getting rid of them but it feels like they are multiplying faster than I can keep up with 😭😭😭 Would anyone know of a better solution? Any tips or tricks that worked for you guys would be so appreciated, I am desperate at this point 🫠

    For the fungus gnats in the soil I use mosquito bits. Given you tried plugins, for fruit flies you could go old fashioned and get a shallow dish with apple cider vinegar and a drop or two of dish soap.

      I second using mesquite bits or dunks, they have fixed the problem for me!

    beneficial nematodes & a top dressing of lecca on plants that need to stay moist! never tried mosquito bits but have heard they also work great! ✨

    My mother in law found that little funnel thing, I don't know what it is called. I put it on top of a jar with apple cider vinegar and a few drops of washing liquid. The fruit flies cannot resist going in and never come out...

    I got carnivorous plants. The easiest kind to start with is a cape sundew. It doesn’t have the trap mechanism that Venus fly traps have but the sticky trichromes will curl up around bugs that it catches and has lower light requirements than Venus fly traps, that require full sun.
