Can anyone give me some tips on saving orchids? I recently rescued an abandoned orchid from a closing shop and am not sure if it’s healthy or not. It was potted in sphagnum moss, but the moss seems a weird texture so I thought I would repot it in bark.
It looks pretty healthy, but I would trim off the papery roots and any that are mushy
2 gillningar i may have chopped off too many roots… the brown/black staining made me paranoid but underneath they were all healthy

I’d spray it with hydrogen peroxide mixed with water & then pot it in a clear plastic nursery pot with orchid bark :)
