Help! I repotted this Peru Monstera a bit ago after noticing she was quite root bound. She has been living happily in this pot for about two weeks, and she is even putting out 3-4 new leaves. However, yesterday, I noticed blackening leaves!! I keep near-ish to a window and also near-ish to a grow light since it’s winter. She’s not terribly close to her light source because I read they like part shade. The blackened leaves are all on the side farthest from the light. I’m thinking it can’t be root rot because I’ve only watered her once since I repotted and the roots were great at that time. I’ve also moved her closer to the humidifier and I haven’t seen any signs of pests. I love this plant 😢

… rotted spots occur on monstera leaves when the plant is weak (from poor light) and the soil remains moist for too long from poor water usage (from poor light)

I moved her into a sunnier spot. Hopefully that helps.
