Can anyone help me with this plant? I’ve had it for a couple of years now and this winter really took a turn for the worse. I’m very careful about overwatering (learned that the hard way), repotted last year in well draining soil with holes… Please help.

    When was the last repot?

Sorry reread your message. I would repot. Make sure to use all new soil maybe a slightly larger pot and rinse the roots off before repotting. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on the top of the soil just in case there is a fungus

You can also try staking it up

Cinnamon? Really? So, if I see white, moldy looking stuff (I’m talking about other plants now) I can sprinkle cinnamon? Or is that entirely different?

      It’s a natural anti fungal

I'd say a repot in the chunky soil. Possibly more light, if its not sufficient. I would not upsize the pot, or you'll end up with overwatering issues again. Do you fertilize at all?

Yes, I do when Planta suggests and if soil isn’t wet. I’m wondering if I should maybe even go into a smaller pot?

If the roots balls small enough you could go smaller. If i know a plants prone to over water I do a pot like an 1"-1-1/2" larger than the football.

We also don’t need to be nasty here. We all are plant lovers. You could have just explained why you disagree instead of bashing me. It doesn’t make you look any more intelligent

      Huh?

I’m not sure what you mean but I wasn’t trying to be nasty. I am genuinely here to learn to be a better plant person. Sorry if there was something in my comment that sounded otherwise…

If this was directed at me, I in no way "bashed" you. I posted my opinion of what course of action I'd personally take, and explained why. If you can't deal with people having different opinions from yours, or correcting something that could harm a plant, group posts may not be for you. Lots of people have differing opinions, you don't have to get offended over them. I personally don't, no one knows everything, and certain care works in different environments better.
