I have these weird white spots on the under leaves of my alocasia. I thought it might be mealy bugs, but I haven't found a single one on it, and the leaves are all nice and healthy. Any suggestions? kinda new at the whole possible pests situation!

    Honestly, I don't know what type of eggs those are, I've had them too, I just took some tweezers and got rid of them. Then I wiped it down with a non harmful plant cleanser.

    Do they appear cotton like or fluffy? Just thinking of mealy bugs, a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol would remove them if so, a good indicator I find if I'm unsure if it's mealy's is once they are dabbed with liquid they turn brown, maybe a pest treatment just to be safe 😀

    Whatever they are, get rid of them. Maybe just a soft cloth with some neem on it and swipe it up the stem. Really, anything that removes the eggs.
