My spider plant got a little too much direct sun and has been slowly declining in health ever since. I moved it and repotted it, but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Any advice? Should I trim off the blackened/browning parts? This plant is special to me, I want to do everything I can to save it.

I would trim them off. This doesn’t quite look like sun burn to me. Mine tends to do this when I’ve not been consistent with watering, either too much or too little.
